Autobio for Umpleby's Web Page

An autobiography for the American Society for Cybernetics website. Requested by Stuart Umpleby.



"Autobiog for Umpleby's Web Page" is actually only one section of a web page that Warfield wrote for Stuart Umpleby's George Washington University web site. The section is titled "BACKGROUND." It was written in 1996, and as of 2002 is still displayed on the old ASC web page, at url http://www.gwu.edu/~asc/warfield/#background. This was the web page address for the American Society for Cybernetics in 1996 but Now, in May 2002, the Society has a new web site. It is: www.asc-cybernetics.org. The headquarters for the society is still at George Washington Univ. and the Warfield material has been transferred and now it is linked from the new web page. I believe this bio by Warfield is also at GMU.
