This review of the Soros book was part of Warfield's collection for his Economics Research studies. He had placed a copy of it in his Economics Research Note binder No. 6 and listed it in his Index of economics study papers. Warfield wrote this in April and May of 2001, after studying the Soros book at length. He submitted it for publication to Michael Jackson, Editor of Systems Research & Behavioral Science, on 12 May. Although Soros is one of the world's richest and most successful financiers, Warfield disagrees with some of the Soros recommendations for world fiscal policy. The WordPerfect file for this document contains the letter of submission to Michael Jackson, followed by the manuscript of the article. Also we have a scan of the offprint, in PDF.
