It is 15 numbered typed pages, plus eleven unnumbered pages on which are listed 20 numbered "claims" identifying the parts of the invention, plus 6 figure pages. Although Warfield was principal investigator and leader for this invention, the actual patent was assigned to his employer Wilcox Electric Company of Kansas City.
