Sent to GMU 27 September 2007. Two of the 6 pages consist of annotation written by Rose Warfield, which has been attached to the beginning of the manuscript. Following that is a scanned copy of the email printouts. Dated 21 August 2000, this an exchange of email correspondence between Don Steward and John Warfield regarding Warfield's research. It is a scanned copy, using omnipage PRO files saved into WordPerfect 9 document. I made the scanned copy in July 2002 when I found the email printouts while sorting old papers. Steward's email message appears to assert indirectly (if you read between the lines) a certain companionship with Warfield, and also he suggests that Steward's DSM method was developed prior to Warfield's work, and that Steward was a primary source for Warfield's work. The email is addressed to 3 faculty members at MIT (Yassine, Whitney and Eppinger) and also to a Stephen P. Denker at the email address world.std.com. Warfield received a cc of the email from Steward, at the same time. Steward's email message is dated 21 August 2000, 11:57 a.m. and when Warfield read it he must have sat down immediately to compose a reply, because Warfield's email message was sent at 5:36 p.m. the very same day, Warfield sent his reply not only to Steward, but also to the same 4 men who had received Steward's email 5 hours earlier. When I asked Warfield about the message exchange, in July 2002, he scarcely remembered it, and also he said he doesn't know Stephen Denker (or if he did he did meet him he has forgotten) He added rather calmly that Steward was just trying to make a living and I should just forget the whole thing, as he has done. This is a characteristic response from Warfield.
