This is a document with the filename "ventfilz.wpd" on Warfield's computer. Ventfilz.wpd is the key to understanding and organizing all the old VENTURA documents for Warfield's 1994 book A Science of Generic Design.  In March, 1994, on Warfield's office computer, with the exception of the file for Appendix 3* all of his book A Science of Generic Design was contained in four different directories: 1. Venturagdbook 2. Venturaasogddsk 3. Venturagdbookfi 4. Venturapopart.  This document (Ventfilz.wpd), written by Warfield, is a guide to the files in those four directories. The filename ventfilz.wpd is really a TABLE, showing how they were incorporated into the published book titled A Science of Generic Design, 2nd edition, Iowa State University Press.

Should we ever need to view the manuscript of original, we must save the VENTFILZ document, in hopes it will eventually give us the needed clues to pull the entire book manuscript out of the backed up computer tapes. (r.w. circa 2000)
