Filename Man232 is the main article, and filename man232abstract IS AN EXTENDED ABSTRACT. Warfield had this article printed and issued a tape bound pamphlet. He says it deals with the Killer Assumptions theme, and is similar to the talks he gave in China, and also at Ford Motor Company. He is not certain why he wrote this, but thinks he might have come back to the office after either China or Ford Motor Company, or both, and written up something as a summary-overview of what he had been saying. Important feature: His list of "Annotated References" included in the article offer good brief summaries of works by 17 other authors as well as 10 of his own. The annotations make a useful addition to the article. The document finishes with a reprint of the "Example IM Workshop Plan", included as pp 25-33 of the pamphlet. R.w. circa 2008 P.S. (Another possibility is that he wrote it as a supporting document to accompany his "Memorandum on University-wide Academic Initiatives" submitted to University administration officials on 26 May 1999. I have found his Memorandum in his box of old papers, and have added it to the jwpapers folder.
