IASIS Information Bulletin #06

Memo containing biographical information Warfield considered sending to Xintong.

"Warfield - Short Autobiography" is Rose Warfield’s title. Actually, this document has no title at all. Looks as if it were a message which Warfield thought about sending to Xintong, to get it put on the IASIS Website, but then either postponed or did not send at all.  Xintong Lin WAS THE WEBMASTER FOR JOHN’S GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY WEB PAGE http://www.gmu.edu/departments/t-iasis

Xintong got his Ph.D. at GMU Public Policy in 2007. Was professor in Public Policy department at GMU from 2007 – 2011, I think.  He was Webmaster there in 2008.

Xintong built John's page, designing fancy Chinese backgrounds which we had to tell him wouldn’t work for John, so the next design was a more conservative background and logo for the page, which Xintong used. Xintong also loaded all of John’s papers onto the web page where they are still available as downloads from that GMU page, which has remained open and usable today. This website downloaded the ISM software to students for a long time, and since it has John’s AOL address as a target, Rose has continued to receive student requests to which she responds by sending each student the desired software packages and also a form letter giving them the GMU library web sites where they can locate Warfield papers.  The form letter is on Rose’s Dell computer in filename Form letter to requests for ISM software.docx
