Notes by J.N. Warfield on The Counter-Revolution of Science by F. A. Hayek

Comments and quotes Warfield wrote down while reading Friedrich August von Hayek’s The Counter-Revolution of Science: Studies in the Abuse of Reason.

Sent to GMU 27 September 27, 2007. John's filename for this paper is: HayekThoughts The document is on Rose's computer in filename: c:invnrwjwpapershayekThoughts.rtf. There is no date on the manuscript but JohnWarfield had it stored in his 1997 - 2000 notebook, so I am going to estimate 1997 The document has a long full title on first page: Notes by J. N. Warfield on: The Counter-Revolution of Science: Studies in the Abuse of Reason authored by Friedrich August von Hayek (F. A. Hayek). The paper has many quotes from the Hayek book, with brief Warfield comments interspersed. JohnWarfield says everything inside the quote marks is Hayek's writing. If not in quotes, then it is something JohnWarfield wrote into the document. At the end are five extra pages which I just put into the same folder, they are a bunch of quotes from Hayek which JohnWarfield copied. None of JohnWarfield's writing is in the last 5 pages of this collection of Hayek papers.

r.w. circa 2007
