“Managing the Unmanageable” (or the acronym “MTU”) was an umbrella phrase used by John for his PowerPoint teaching materials, Some of the PowerPoint slides in this September 2007 collection were published intermittently in different papers articles books by Warfield, but the entire collection on this disk has not been published as a unit.

Warfield did not use PowerPoint before 1997 or 1998. By that time PowerPoint software had been upgraded to the point that he was able to create what was needed in his graphic presentations. PowerPoint could now do the large flow charts which Warfield called "Problematiques," as long as they were not too big. Some of his pre-1998 drawings and teaching transparencies were redone by Warfield as PowerPoints. However, he continued to use WordPerfect for the largest of his problematiques, because only the WordPerfect graphics software could do them properly. R.W. 9 Mar 2012. - End -
