This is a scanned copy of two of the transparencies used by John in his presentation of the paper ON THE CHOICE OF FRAMES FOR SYSTEMS STUDIES, presented at Society for General systems Research, Los Angeles, California, 27-31 May 1985. The paper appeared in the 1985 Proceedings of the Society, but all of Warfield's figures used as transparencies were inadvertently omitted from the published printed Proceedings article. A year later, Alexander Christakis published a version of this figure in a paper of his own, where he titled the figure "Relating the Worlds of the Cosmic Partition."
