This document was inside Warfield's note-binder titled NEW PAPER SYSTEMS PROGRAMS IN UNIVERSITIES. I think it is an unfinished paper. For this paper Warfield creates his own ideas of what these three philosophers might have to say today about the topic of systems studies as it is practiced in modern universities. This is Warfield's abstract, for this paper in which he has presents imaginary discussions between himself and the men no longer living: "In the light of the very limited status of academic programs dedicated to the study of systems, three prolific authors from the past are brought together in a facilitated, imagined conversation to discuss their views on what a systems program ought to be like. In preparation for such a conversation, each participant was required to study, at minimum, three selected publications of the other two, along with any other material that they might choose…" I have scanned the paper to a PDF file and I will add at the end a figure drawn by Warfield which I believe he intended to go with the paper. The figure is titled: Foucault's Space of Discourse, as seen by John N. Warfield, 2003. I am sure this article was written before 2005, the date of the note-binder holding Warfield's collected ideas for a paper on designing systems curriculum in universities. In this paper he uses the same format as his paper on Foucault, Hayek & Peirce Part 1/Part 2 in which he featured similar imaginary conversations, an article which was published in Panetics journal in 2001.
