In a box of papers saved by Warfield, this article has the caption "ELEMENT LIST" AT THE TOP, but Warfield in his own index list gives it the title: "What are the definitions in the Constraint Theory of Leondes and Friedman?" This paper has 61 numbered "definitions." all mathematical. A companion paper has 67 numbered "theorems" also mathematical. The two lists might be part of index to Friedman's Constraint Theory which Warfield finished in March of 1995. Warfield had saved both of these element lists, and on each one had carefully written the date in blue ink: "Draft of 15 August 1994 Constraint Theory."
