Clanthink (PowerPoint Slides)

A 66 page spiral-bound booklet of PowerPoint slides used as a handout for a lecture at Bell Northern Research Limited. The booklet is divided into three sections, holding the printouts of three different slide presentations adapted from three sets of WordPerfect transparencies created earlier by Warfield. 1) Clanthink, June 1993 2) Generic Design Science: Diagnostics,) 3) Generic Design Science: Laws of Generic Design.

"Clanthink," is the title of a 66-page spiral-bound booklet of printouts of PowerPoint slides. The PowerPoints were prepared by office staff at Bell Northern Research Labs, copied from three sets of WordPerfect transparencies which Warfield had sent to Bell Northern in advance of his lecture. The booklet was an audience handout for the presentation at Bell Northern Research Laboratory, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, on 3 June 1993. The booklet is divided into three sections, holding the printouts of three different slide presentations adapted from three sets of WordPerfect transparencies created earlier by Warfield. 1) Clanthink, June 1993, 15p. 2) Generic Design Science: Diagnostics, 27 p. (reprint of a 1991 IASIS monograph) 3) Generic Design Science: Laws of Generic Design, 24p. (reprint of a 1991 IASIS monograph)

At that time, in 1993, Warfield did not have the software to read any PowerPoint files, so I doubt they gave Warfield any of the PPT files on a disk; if they did we misplaced them, so never had any opportunity to use the slides for other lectures. However, the Bell Northern versions of Warfield's transparencies are very nice, so I saved them, and finally in the year 2012 the scanner and the PDF software is good enough that I could scan the Clanthink Booklet of PowerPoints, so I did, dividing into 3 separate PDF documents for digitizing because my scanner could not print all 66 pages at once. Alas, now in August 2013 I can find only PART 1 OF THE BOOKLET. The other pdf files from Bell Northern are lost. But NOT TO WORRY, Parts 2 and 3 had been scanned to pdf EARLIER from 1991 booklets. I ALREADY HAD THEM IN PDF. Parts 2 and 3 are on Rose's computer in filenames: "GDS-DIAGNOSTICS PowerPoint Slides.pdf;" and "GDS-Laws of Generic Design PowerPoint slides.pdf." Below is a COMPLETE LIST OF TRANSPARENCIES in the three-sections of the 66-page booklet "Clanthink" printed by Bell Northern.
