This is one of several unfinished manuscripts or working papers created by Warfield for his ECONOMICS RESEACH studies. He had placed a copy of it in his Economics Research Note-binder No. 6 and listed it in his Index of economics study papers. It consists of three pages of disapproval of the poor use of scientific method, or excuse for same, with examples involving Comte, Santa Fe School, Fisher on economics, Forrester's world model. Just a beginning, nothing further developed beyond summary paragraphs for each idea. He had learned about Comte and regretted the Comte influence, without which he maintains the whole arena of social sciences could have gone in a different direction.
