Axiomatics

A draft manuscript that explores the philosophies of various economists and presents his own approach to the study of economics. This was meant as a preface or introduction to his larger project. Writers mentioned include Rothbard, Foucault, von Mises, Warfield, Saint-Simon, Comte, Adam Smith, Jevons, Hayek, Peirce, and Popper.



This paper was part of John's collection for his Economics Research studies. He had placed a copy of it in his Economics Research Note-binder No. 7 and listed it in his Index of economics study The manuscript is a preliminary draft in which Warfield discusses briefly the philosophies of various economists and presents his own approach to the study of economics, all as a sort of preface to his total research project, or book, or whatever it was he intended to do with the economics research he was conducting at the time this was written. Writers mentioned in this paper are Rothbard, Foucault, von Mises, Warfield, Saint-Simon, Comte, Adam Smith, Jevons, Hayek, Peirce, and Popper.
