AIO -Americans for Indian Opportunity Congressional Committee Hearing

Four hours of a demonstration of an Interactive Management session. The first of two Congressional committee hearings on tribal issues, involving the use of IM.

Sent to ASU on 6 Nov 2000. This was the first of two Congressional committee hearings on tribal governance issues, involving the use of IM. The CIM staff from GMU helped with the IM demonstration and did the filming. (We think the second of the two committee hearing was also filmed by CIM, but the tapes have been lost. ) The hearing is described in the CIM Report titled: MOVING TOWARD THE EFFECTIVE PARTICIPATION OF TRIBAL GOVERNMENTS IN THE U.S. FEDERAL SYSTEM, [CROMER] June 29, 1987. The report is in Box 25 Folder 24 of the John Warfield Special Collection at Fenwick Library. Fenwick Library stacks has the report also, 2 copies in fact: call numbers E98.T77 M68 1987, or H61.W372, v. 3. Unfortunately, the film is not joined to the Report, since in the year 2000 hectic packing and sorting job, we ended up sending the videos that go with the CIM Report not to GMU, but to Arizona, where they are now, in the Hayden Library in Tempe, AZ. THIS NOTE WRITTEN 17 FEB 2007. rw. .
