In this seminar series speakers from outside the Center were invited to present lectures. This was the fifth of eight such seminar talks during the school year 1987-1988. Hilda Blanco was Professor, Department of Urban Affairs and Planning at Hunter College in New York City. She gave a talk on her doctoral research work, which was about Peirce's abduction theory, among other things. She had been a student of Wes Churchman.
