Notes on the Work of Charles Sanders Peirce (from The Wandwaver: Appendix 25)

Warfield gives a definition of complexity which he has drawn from Peirce's famous essay How to Make Our Ideas Clear:  "Complexity is that sensation experienced in the human mind when, in observing or considering a system, frustration arises from lack of comprehension of what is being explored."

The Wandwaver Solution: APPENDIX 25 is  a collection of short Biosketches of Key Individuals in History of Thought, written by John N. Warfield in November,1995, which begins with Warfield's short essay on Peirce, whose work he admired more than that of any other American philosopher.
