This manuscript is also in the IASIS File, Number IASIS 77/004. It is a software package which augments algorithms by Warfield which were published in "Crossing Theory and Hierarchy Mapping". R. R. Cline was a graduate student at University of Virginia at the time Warfield was Electrical Engineering department chairman. He did the work as part of a graduate assistanceship, I believe. He worked for Warfield for at least a semester and probaby longer.
When Mr. Dangsheng Ma began to try to write the new software to produce ISM graphics, John gave him a copy of this paper, along with other materiels, and Dangsheng still has it, as far as I know.
At present we have one copy of MAP-PAK in the PAPERS BY OTHERS file cabinet.
Also there is another copy in John's ISM-SOFTWARE RELATED MATERIALS, a box of papers concerned with the software development projects at GMU since 1990, which we have stuck away in a corner of the GMU office somewhere.
