Abstract: ISM is a computer-aided modeling method to assist a group of people in studying and analyzing complex problems and in designing solutions to the problems. Our research indicates that this experimental use of ISM in a high school classroom is different from other uses of the computer in education. We have shown that high school teachers can learn the ISM method without difficulty...Research sponsored by grant from Office of Environmental Education, HEW.
