A 20 page report plus about 40 pages of figures and tables. Sponsored by the Electric Power Research Institute and the American Water Works Assn., this report details the findings of a survey conducted by Cresap and American Productivity & Quality Center, to determine which management methods are currently in use in U.S. companies and which ones were judged most useful. This survey is to be followed, at a later date, by case studies of those industrial management methods which are found to be most successful, along with a technology transfer system for importing the methods to other companies. Respondents to the survey represent a cross section of U.S. industry and are geographically diverse.
