Qualitative Solvability in Economic Models.

Summary: Pending
Abstract: The qualitative analysis consedered here deals with a linear or linearized system Ax=b, where only the sign of the elements of mat rix A and vector b are specified. In general, even for a sparse matri x A, this information is insufficient to determine unambiguously the s ign of the elements of the solution vector x. However, practically it if often possible to predict the sign of the elements of the inverse of matrix A by restricting the parameters to some interval. Such mini mal restrictions are sought by means of a graph-theoretic approach.
