User's Manual: ISM for Windows, Version 1.0

Summary: Pending
See also a companion volume: Tutorial by D. Ma. Contains 14 chapters on using ISM software, plus an index. Dangsheng Ma & his assistant Mr. Qingchuan Gan wrote the first ISM for Windows software between 1990 and 1993, about. Part of their responsibility was to produce a user guide. They struggled with this, since neither spoke or wrote very good English. Their final decision was to produce a user guide in two volumes, one was this manual written by Q. Gan,. the other was a tutorial written by D. Ma. It took them an awful lot of effort to do these manuals, because they included a lot of graphics to illustrate the manuscripts. The two volumes were printed and spiralbound and turned in as part of the project in early 1994. Ben Broome got copies, and used as a starting point for his more skillful userguide produced in 1997.
