Scientific Approach to Engineering Design.

Concurrent developments of a scientific approach to engineering design are outlined. It is shown that in order to establish a scienti- fic theory of design, the following need to be studies and covered: the designer, the activity, the object, the context in which engineer- ing design takes place and the context of use of the resulting techni- cal system.....necessary development of computer aids.
