Received in a March 21, 1998 email attachment from Roy Smith, this is a printout of the set of 12 PowerPoint slides used by Roy in a presentation to Ford Motor Company group, in which he promotes the use of Interactive Management.
The opening slide is Roy's cartoon showing a row of bow and arrow archers side by side with a cannon, under the caption "Why do I need Interactive Management (i.e., another weapon) in Process Reengineering?" "If I have some of these [the archers] why do I need this [the cannon] ?"
Later in the sequence are slides listing examples of elements and relationships, and later yet a problematique which he had developed with the TRWL charitable work in Romania.
Roys own computer filename for this set of slides is: c:ism\teaching\request\request.ppt - I have changed the filename to request(RoySmithpptSlideShow) and will store it in my computer folder titled invnrw\byothers\.
Note, I found out in 2011 that This link to the powerpoint file won't open because it came in wordperfect mail probably. I will try to scan the printouts, which won't be as good, but probably will work.
