Systems Science and Incremental Globalization

Written by

Likely part of an intended book manuscript. Discusses Warfield’s economic research and the ways in which Interpretive Structural Modeling could assist international organizations operate more effectively. See also, “Principal Subsystems (Dimensions) and Legacy Organizational Structures.”

This is a two-page document labelled "CHAPTER ABSTRACT" on first page and "CHAPTER OUTLINE" on second page.

Part of an intended book manuscript, probably. It is a type of document Warfield might have sent as part of a faxed letter, in some of his My Crusades correspondence, in which he is promoting the use of his methodology to deal with "issues that involve multiple national jurisdictions which legacy organizational structures are unprepared to adjudicate." This little scrap of a document displays his economics research interests; I think he was working on the idea of using ISM to structure the currently entrenched international institutions which were not quite capable of needed action because they were all operating more or less independently of one another. With this globalization 2 page document, there is another page, a table titled "Principal Subsystems (Dimensions) and Legacy Organizational Structures" which I scanned and recorded as a separate title in my database. The two items seemed closely related, but not sure they were all of the same piece. Maybe more will turn up. R.w. 23 Feb 2013
