"Demands OF COMPLEXITY on Systems Science*." is the title of a plenary session TALK which Warfield presented on the July1 4th, at the UKSS conference. This paper is 4 pages of detailed talking points keyed to the transparencies which he had prepared for the presentation. In the actual talk, Warfield did not follow this outline, because Dr. Herrscherr, another speaker whose topic was similar, asked to speak before Warfield's turn. As a result Warfield changed his remarks at the last minute, to adjust to Herrscher's talk. Warfield spoke extemporaneously for most of the lecture, adding comments and insights about historical contributions of systems scientists, especially British ones. See also the database record for "Demands OF COMPLEXITY on Systems Science: Presentation Components (transparencies)" listing transparencies which were prepared for this talk. And distributed. I can't be sure but probably this material is in either Folder 8 or Folder 9 of Box 20 at Fenwick Library, GMU.
