I asked Warfield in September 2000 about this typewritten paper and he gives only a guess that it was about 1982. He is not positive at all about the date. It was written before he came to George Mason Univ and after he finished the OEE project, we think, since he used old OEE project stationery for scrap paper on which to type this work in progress. The pages are grouped together in an Accopress binder. The first page is a list of topical headings, numbered, then re-numbered, there are about 12 or 13 topics. Later pages refer to work of Lindblom, C.S. Peirce, Bales, Kemeny, possibly others. There are 2 or 3 nicely typed manuscript pages which seem to be a beginning to a paper to be titled "Productivity of Groups."
