“Interpretive Structural Modeling,” in M. Singh, ed., Systems and Control Encyclopedia

A general description of ISM, its development, intellectual history, and uses. Due to space limitations, the mathematical theory is omitted, but references are provided for other works by Warfield which contain this theory.

GMU has both manuscript and offprint, I believe. This is a general description of ISM, its development, intellectual history, and uses. Due to space limitations, the mathematical theory is omitted, but references are provided for other works by Warfield which contain this theory. The package sent to GMU should have contained a copy of the original typewritten manuscript, completed in 1982, and sent to George Klir, who was U.S. editor for the Pergamon encyclopedia. There was a five year wait until the article was finally published, in 1987. IASIS File No.82/028, contains the ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPT version of this article, while the IASIS file number for the published version is 87/027.
