This is a presentation packet of transparencies and/or handout pages, for use in classes or lectures. There is no date on the manuscript. This could be the missing 1977 manuscript No. 43 in Warfield's publindx file. But if so, he did add-ons later, some of the transparencies could only have appeared after the interactive management workshops relative to them, e.g. about 1980, I think. The examples pages are: Going to Movie. RELS options field, 24 Oct, 1978. Design Choices for Courthouse Administrative System, 1980, A Futures Oriented Workshop for Stakeholders, not sure on this date. So I just can't figure out when this manuscript was written. --------
As far as I can tell, here is a complete list of all of Warfield's Options Field writings (except for what is in his books). 21/10/1978 - Options Field done for RELS, printed in 12/1978 paper. 1/12/1978 - Partial draft, with Memo: 23 page manuscript titled "OPTIONS PROFILES" sent to Sage, House, Fitz and Bogan 24/4/1979 - Draft for comment: 19 page manuscript: "OPTIONS PROFILES AND POLICY SYNTHESIS" 07/1979 - Published article "SYSTEMS PLANNING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION" 03/07/1979 - 24 page article submitted to SMC Journal Editor: "A METHODOLOGY FOR CONCEPTUAL DESIGN OF SYSTEMS AND ITS APPLICATION TO ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION" 12/1981 - 15 page manuscript: "THE OPTIONS FIELD METHODOLOGY FOR DESIGN" is or was actually pp. 38-52 of a longer typed manuscript. The paper has more of a mathematical emphasis, and introduces the term "Quad." No date, possibly 1980 - 27 Transparencies: THE OPTIONS FIELD/OPTIONS PROFILE (0F0P) METHOD FOR TOP DOWN DESIGN"
