This essay draws on a longer paper by Warfield titled: "Structural Thinking: Producing Effective Organizational Change in Organizations" and talks about ways to fix organizational problems.



This manuscript was sent to Bill Livingston, the newsletter editor, in September 1993. We have the manuscript only, no printed newsletter article. Quote from this article: "The woods are full of gurus who know how to fix organizational problems... what is this mysterious essential that is almost universally overlooked? It is Structural Thinking..." This essay draws on a longer paper by Warfield titled: "Structural Thinking: Producing Effective Organizational Change in Organizations."
