Proposal: WEEKLY LECTURE SERIES ON COMPLEXITY FOR FALL, 1998

Warfield’s formal proposal to George Mason University to conduct a series of lectures on complexity. The proposal was accepted and the lectures occurred between September and December 1998 at the Johnson Center, George Mason University.

This was one of many files associated with the Warfield's "Complexity Lectures" offered at Johnson Center, George Mason University during the Fall Semester 1998. This document was Warfield's formal proposal to George Mason University regarding a Complexity Lecture Series. The link gives the path directly to open the document, however there are other miscellaneous papers in the same folder with this proposal, all under the general heading of Overview, which I dumped in here as a catchall for miscellaneous files. The proposal was sent to Jennifer Ross with copy to Kingsley Haynes (Public Policy dean) on 11 May 1998. Ms. Ross who was Activities coordinator of the Johnson Center Programs had issued a request to faculty members to submit lecture programs. Warfield's proposal was accepted. The first Complexity Lecture took place in September 1998, and the final one was in December 1998. While at George Mason University Warfield was continually hoping to have a general expansion of the number of people who understood his approach to societal problems and how Warfield methods of education might effectively cope with next generation complexities
