Invited to make a presentation at the request of a Mr. Jeffrey Long, Warfield prepared a document under the above title which included several excerpts from his previous papers, and he left the document at GWU Notational Lab for them to copy as desired "with appropriate citation of the source." John's presentation included discussion of Domain of Science Model, Structural Fields, Structural Profiles, Friedman's Constraint Theory, Total Inclusion Structure, Delta Chart, Partition Structure, Arrow Bullet Diagrams, Options Fields and Options Profiles. The document also contained as a list of references Friedman's PhD Dissertation, plus Societal Systems, Science of Generic Design, and IM Handbook. The 28 February version given to the GWU seminar participants was 32 pages.
In May, 1996, Warfield reworked the manuscript and enlarged it to 38 pages for production as a report, with a title page, contents pages and his one-page biography used as a back cover. Warfield did not save the manuscript on home computer as a SINGLE FILE, but instead used a COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING FILENAMES to assemble his Master manuscript. If we ever wanted to reproduce the monograph in a nicely printed version the separate files would have to be pulled out and reprinted, one by one. But we did have the Master copy of the manuscript, which had been collected one time only and assembled by Warfield, and we kept it in the Manuscripts file drawer, where we could access it for photocopies if needed. This Master copy was donated to GMU Special Collection after Warfield retired. In 2008 the Master copy was selected to be a part of the new Warfield Digital Collection. It was scanned to a PDF file at GMU library and the PDF file is available for download from Warfield Digital Collection, using the link in URL field above.
