Warfield described Carol Jeffrey's work in Liberia. He handed out copies of this paper to the audience, and also copies of Carol's IM Report "Disarmament and Demobilization." To his surprise, he found later that Carol's report had been published, with Carol named as author, in the new Panetics Journal. Ralph Widner had put her report into the journal without telling either Warfield or Carol, but I guess she was pleased to get published, even though Ralph had done quite a bit of editing on it. Carol didn't learn about the Panetics Journal until the following December, when Warfield finally located her. She had come back from Africa due to illness, and is living in Warrenton, VA.
