What Questions Have Been Formulated and Answered in a 30-Year Research Program to Study Complexity?

A series of twenty questions about complexity Warfield introduces and answers. Covers topics including the language used, process requirements, etc. for solving complex problems.

Warfield was asked to donate an article for some sort of printed booklet (NASA Program Book) being put out by the NASA associated group (TADCORPS, Technical & Administrative Services Corporation of Washington, D. C.) which was hosting him for a talk to be given at Ramada Inn on 18 August 1998. So he decided to give them this paper to print. In this document, questions numbered 1 to 20, posed and then answered, cover the language used, process requirements, etc. for solving complex problems. On his computer this paper is listed as a "cell-pack" meaning he planned to use it as transparencies. The document was used as a handout in the Short Course on Interactive Management taught for Mr. Ernzen and the PSOL students, 15-18 Feb. 1999, at Room 311 Johnson Center. Warfield used his 1998 manuscript printed out to create a spiral bound report, which he dated May 2007, and gave spiral-bound copies to the attendees at his 11 July 2007 Systems Science Program short course held in Sheffield, Alabama.
