Sent to GMU 27 September 2007. John R. Payne was the professional appraiser whom John contacted in year 2000 to inquire about getting a value estimate on the textual materials in Warfield Collection. Descriptions of the collected materials had been shipped to Mr. Payne to get the estimate. In the end, no appraisal was arranged for textual materials, due to the expense, as I recall the professional appraisal fee for a collection this large would have been $10,000.
