Proposal: Ford's Floor Plan & Cost Estimate for Situation Room

Architect’s drawings of floor plans for use with Interactive Management sessions being run at Ford. The proposal was not accepted by Ford administration at this time.

An architectural and engineering planning firm in Detroit area was hired by Ford to do this estimate in 1998. The 6 page architect proposal/document titled Estimate of Probable Construction Cost was submitted to Ford Motor Company in 1998. It is a cost estimate of every detail that would be needed in constructing ideal office complex for using Interactive Management, to include office space, conference room, situation room, and the longed-for observatorium space so lacking in all other facilities. A 8 1/2 x17 inch color drawing of a Floor Plan accompanied the estimate. Ford never acted to construct the estimated space. However eventually Ford did support a new space for Interactive Management, to be shared with other group meetings, which followed much of the Demosophia type room plans and specs compiled for IASIS by David Keever and Ben Broome, working under Warfield’s 1990 research contract with Ford. Warfield’s’ office had mailed the Keever/Broome specs to Ford in a big packet, in October 1992.
