This document was inside John's note-binder titled New Paper Systems Programs in Universities. This is just a single page with a few comments from Warfield about Vickers BOOK published by Seaside in 1980 which is now out of print, titled Responsibility: Its Sources and its Limits. I tried to find the book, it is only 137 pages, I know Warfield must have had it with his books, maybe it will turn up. Can't find it as of Sept 2011. Attached to Warfield's page about the BOOK are three pages of a Vickers video interview which Warfield had downloaded from Britain's Open University in 2005. These three pages are NOT the Vickers book, nor even excerpts from it. Instead, the three pages are transcripts of a video interview of Sir Geoffrey Vickers which Warfield had found on the BBC Open University website. Warfield's handwriting on his own document contains the Open University URL to reach the video: http://www.open2.net/systems/practice/res.html I tried Warfield's URL but it in Sept 2011 didn't work. I found that the Vickers videotaped interview had been moved to a different URL at Open University. The video transcript is also in my <ByOthers> folder, but it is the 2011 URL version. On this new URL you can watch Sir Geoffrey deliver the words, or you can read the transcript of what he is saying, I downloaded the Vickers interview in 2011 from the new URL and filed it in <ByOthers> folder on my computer, under filename,<Vickers, transcript of 1978 interview for Open University.wpd>, The 2011 transcript has been prettied up a bit with paragraph headings and a title (World View & Systems) but the words in the 2011 downloaded transcript are exactly the same as in these three pages downloaded by Warfield in 2005.
