CIM logo described in Center's newsletter

Appeared in the Spring 1985 edition of the Center for Interactive Management newsletter Nexus. The logo shows two triangles linked together by CIM. A descriptive panel states that "The first triangle represents [Intelligence, Design and Choice] the three principal functions of managers, the second represents the three functions of a university, namely Teaching, Research and Public Service."

This page appears in the Spring 1985 issue of the CIM newsletter "Nexus", it was the first issue of the newsletter after Center for Interactive Management moved to George Mason University. (The actual first issue was three years earlier, in 1982 at University of Virginia) John Warfield designed the CIM logo originally for his Center at University of Virginia, where it was used on the banner headline for the NEXUS newsletter there. The logo shows two triangles linked together by CIM as the Center for Interactive Management. Warfield also authored the description printed in the 1985 issue. "The first triangle represents [Intelligence, Design and Choice] the three principal functions of managers, the second represents the three functions of a university, namely Teaching, Research and Public Service."
