THE EVOLUTION OF SYSTEMS SCIENCE is the title for the Big Blue Note-binder holding papers collected for a book manuscript still in the idea stage, started January 2007. There is a "Preface" document which explains the book idea, something about the history of systems science with pictures of the scientists and little write-ups of their works, ending with the current systems science interests in behavioral psychology and social problems. In the computer folder (EVOLUTIONofSYSTSC) on Rose’s computer are nine papers collected for this new project:. The note-binder has printouts of lives of Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Boyle, Newton, Euler, LaGrange, Fourier, Ampere, Ohm, Sadi Carnot, Lejeune Dirichlet, von Helmholtz, Maxwell, Gibbs, Boltzman, Heaviside, Tesla, Steinmetz. These photo biographies were possibly intended to be added to photo biography materials which Warfield had already collected on his computer. He had a large collection of these history of science figures.
