A set of 14 videotapes had been envisioned at the start of the project but Warfield succeeded in filming only nine of the lectures, just at the end of his teaching career. He planned to produce the remaining five titles after retirement and to improve and complete the entire MTU series, but he was never able to do so. (MTU is an acronym for Warfield's title for a series of teaching materials which he called "Managing the Unmanageable" consisting of video lectures, slides and papers) Here are titles for the 6 Lecture disks (on DVDs), and also the titles on the 7th Disk holding PowerPoint slides and PDF documents on a CD:
Lecture 1-Process Leadership in Organizations.mp4 = Disk 1
Lecture 2 Interactive & Lecture 7 Thought.mp4 = Disk 2, with two lectures
Lecture 3 Thought & Lecture 5 The Metrics.mp4 = Disk 3, with two lectures
Lecture 4-The Mathematics of Structure.mp4 = Disk 4 with one lecture
Lecture 9-Infrastructure & Lecture 13 Managerial.mp4 = Disk 5 with two lectures
Lecture 14-Structuring Discursivity for the Domain of Complexity.mp4 = Disk 6 with one lecture

In this Album CD named “MTU2000, The Video Lectures” there are videos derived from one VHS cassette filmed at George Mason University(GMU) in Fairfax, Virginia plus eight other lectures filmed on Beta Cam cassettes at George Washington University(GWU) in Washington, D.C.. In addition, a 7th (compact) disk holds PowerPoint slide shows and pdf title page files to accompany the MTU2000 Lectures. The compact disk also has 3 pdf documents holding descriptions, notes or abstracts to accompany the slide shows.
Viewers will see that on the PowerPoint slides and also in the video lectures John asks viewers to read his book “A Structure Based Science of Complexity.” Please note that there is no book titled “A Structure Based Science of Complexity.” Due to publishing delays with the Kluwer Publishing company Warfield eventually changed the title to Understanding Complexity, and published the manuscript himself as the first book produced by Warfield's AJAR Publishing Company, in 2002.
