DAVID RICARDO ANALYSIS

A summary of the work of David Ricardo, who preceded Adam Smith in his studies of economic conditions. This was the first, or one of the first, of what Warfield planned would be a complete set of writings on individual economists. One of several short papers Warfield created for his Economics Research Studies. Paper should include table which displays in graphic form the "Relationships" between the "Elements" in Ricardo's studies.

This is one of several short papers created by Warfield for his ECONOMICS RESEARH studies. A printout of the 2 page document is in Economics Research note-binder No. 1. It seems to be a fairly complete summary of the work of David Ricardo, who preceded Adam Smith in his studies of economic conditions. Please look also at a large table in another filename "DAVIDRICARDOrelationships.wpd" which displays in graphic form the "Relationships" between the "Elements" in Ricardo's studies. This large table should be a part of the main paper, but Warfield probably created it at a different time and never combined because paper was unfinished. I am sure of the date on the 2 page manuscript, it was 2 July 2002, but don't know when Warfield did the table of elements, probably afterward. I also have a filename "david ricardo analysis.wpd" on home computer, which is my scan of the printout of this paper which is in the Economics note-binder sent to Univ of Ozarks. The PDF file David Ricardo Analysis.pdf is exactly the same as the WordPerfect document DavidRicardo.wpd. I have the PDF PLACED IN "ECONOMICS RESEARCH" FOLDER (A FOLDER I CREATED) BUT THE OTHER TWO RICARDO FILES ARE RETAINED IN WARFIELD'S ORIGINAL FOLDER "MYECONRESEARCH"WHICH HE CREATED IN 2002. I WANT TO TRY AND MAINTAIN THE INTEGRITY OF Warfield's original document arrangement, if possible. This was the first or one of the first of what Warfield planned would be a complete set of writings on the individual economists. He did not complete many more, but left here an outline of the type of analysis he envisioned for each of his subjects. A hard copy of this paper was among the group of economics note-binders donated to University of Ozarks in 2012. r.w. Dec 2012
