Case Study Format

As part of his effort to define economic schools of thought, Warfield created this template for use when reading ad studying individual books or articles. It identifies topics/criteria to look for in each document as a way of systematically comparing it with others.

This is one of several short papers created by Warfield for his ECONOMICS RESEACH studies. In his effort to define economic schools of thought, Warfield devised this Template for use when reading and studying individual books or articles. On a single page is list of topics or criteria to look for, for use in a systematic comparison with others, ending with whether or not Warfield had created an actual "Structure" of the findings. A printout of the page is in Economics Research Note-binder No. 5 which was donated to University of the Ozarks in 2012. SEE ALSO the two records in database which are examples of the template in use:\ 1) "CASE STUDY FOR AN ECONOMICS SCHOOL OF THOUGHT (ESOT)CaseStudy5-Petty&theMercantilists" 2) "CASE STUDY FOR AN ECONOMICS SCHOOL OF THOUGHT (ESOT)CaseStudy6-Cantillon, Turgot, and Enlightenment Econ."
