Book Reviews: Part 3-Economics from 1750 to 1800

An unfinished manuscript in the form of an integrated “book review” economic philosophers born in the period 1750-1800. Focuses on the writing of Saint-Simon, Say, Ricardo and Comte. Only Ricardo, however, is discussed at length. There are short reviews of Saint-Simon and Say but Comte is only mentioned in name. Follows the format established by the previous parts. Following the pattern established in Part 2 Warfield describes work of economists born in the period 1750-1780. The paper features four men: Saint-Simon, Say, Ricardo and Comte. Only Ricardo is discussed at length. There are short reviews of Saint-Simon & Say and nothing at all on Comte except his name is mentioned.
