Proposal: Construction of the Economics Problematique

A proposal submitted to the Calvin K. Kazanjian Economics Foundation. Warfield offers to teach a one-week short course on complexity. Proposal includes definition of the word “problematique” and its potential value in the field of economics. Short biographical letter attached.

Addressed to the Grants Program (Economic Literacy) of the Kazanjian foundation which operates out of Dallas, Pennsylvania, this 4-page proposal with introductory letter and a bio page designed to accompany the proposal is an offer by Warfield to present a one-week short course on complexity. The proposal briefly describes the meaning of the word "Problematique" and its potential value in the field of economics. The Kazanjain Foundation is asked to financially support the week-long short course and also through its knowledge of the economics community to help identify ten economists who could be brought together to serve as participants in developing the problematique and in helping with the interpretation of the problematique.
