Historical Overview, 33 Years of Research Described in 30 Minutes—Slides

PowerPoint slides to accompany a guest lecture in a Systems Design class taught by Dr. Antonio Rios. John Warfield presented the lecture by Picture Tel from Tampa, Florida to the class on the ITESM campus in Chihuahua, Mexico, 29 October 2001. For the video of this lecture see “Diseno y Practica de Sistemas” and for the transcript see “Managing the Unmanageable: Historical Overview, 33 Years of Research Described in 30 Minutes.”

This is the file of PowerPoints designed to accompany a guest lecture in a Systems Design class taught by Dr. Antonio Rios. Warfield presented the lecture by Picture Tel from Tampa, Florida to the class on the ITESM campus in Chihuahua, Mexico, 29 October 2001. The entire class lecture was videotaped, with part of it lecturing by Dr. Rios in Mexico. The title of the Video, produced in Mexico at ITESM is "Diseno Y Practica de Sistemas". A copy of the video is in Warfield Special Collection at GMU in Box 96 Folder 2, I think. MTU#30 Power Point slide show has 5 PowerPoint slides altogether, but Warfield used only two during the talk, probably because of time constraints in the Picture Tel transmission schedule.

Here is a list of all 5 slides in MTU#30. 1) Title slide 2) Interactive Management Support Structure- 3) Management of Complexity Support Structure- 4) SYSTEMS SCIENCE Support Structure- 5) Where to Learn More
