Interview of Dr. John N. Warfield

A typed transcript of a telephone interview conducted by David Houpt for the Oral History Program at Special Collections & Archives George Mason University Libraries.

 

DAVID WROTE THIS NEW ABSTRACT FOR WARFIELD WEB PAGE differing from an earlier one written for GMU. David was hired in 2015 to edit and summarize Rose's data for use in Warfield Web Page. We had asked him to write new summary material for all Warfield Web pages, to avoid copyright infringement on the abstracts he had written in 2008-2009 for the George Mason University's Warfield Digital Collection. ABSTRACT: "An interview of Warfield conducted by David Houpt, a graduate student at George Mason University and research assistant at the Special Collections and Archives. The interview covers topics including Warfield’s service in the army, his early career, his development of Interactive Management, what a typical IM workshop entails, how his Work Program of Complexity differed from Interactive Management, and his influences.
