DMSC Workshop July 1991: Interactive Management Video

Describes experiences and processes encountered by persons who participate in an Interactive Management session, by use of film clips from a June 1991 Interactive Management Technical Managers Advanced Workshop held at Defense Systems Management College (DSMC) combined with comments from A. Christakis & J.N. Warfield in selected interview segments.

The video is 19 minutes long, but repeated on the same tape. The running time is listed in the Library Finding aid as 40 m, 33 seconds for the VHS cassette but it is the same video, shown twice. The title displayed onscreen is "Interactive Management Video, Defense Systems Management College."

Silent film clips of a DSMC workshop are combined with segments from interviews of John Warfield and of Alexander Christakis. The video was produced  by Mary Austin while working on her Master's degree in Communication department at George Mason University.  The sound quality of those interviews is so poor that the comments of the two men are  almost unintelligible.  The quality of the video film is also poor, insufficient lighting and staging, but it does have well-written off-screen narration.

There is no MPEG file, but Warfield's home computer does have it digitized in VOB FORMAT suitable for dvd disk.  See Also: "Technical Managers Advanced Workshop.” ten VHS cassettes holding videos of the June 1991 workshop from which clips were taken for this 19 minute video. See Also: “John Warfield interviewed (Raw Footage for Project by Mary Austin)”, a 40 minute interview from which clips were taken for this 19 minute video.
