Different departments in Ford Motor Company used differing software packages which did not interface so that coordinated manufacturing and design in the entire company was an impossibility. The challenge was how to redesign and integrate into a single system the software packages used by all parts of Ford Motor Company.. The workshop took place on Jan 11-14, but the Report was issued on January 24. I am fairly sure it was written by the same people who wrote the Workshop Plan report which is in Box 23, Folder 10. Scott Staley with John Warfield and Mark Anders collaborating. This is the workshop which was videotaped and the tapes are now in Warfield Special Collection, in Box 81. The tapes were copied to DVD in 2003 or 2004 and the DVD's are also in Special Collection, in Box 88. I can't find the actual Summary Report, it should be with the copies of Ford Reports that SC & A sent to John in 2007 when he was writing that paper, but I can't find it. I can find only some DRAFT pages dated Jan 13 which came from this workshop. The Draft pages are in Box 23 Folder 10, I think. Copies of the tapes and also DVD copies are in the Fenwick Library Warfield Special Collection, in Box81 and Box 88.
