We also have a copy of the pre-publication manuscript for this paper, which Ben gave to us in 1994. There is a long abstract but I do not have time to copy it all because gathering up the last of office papers for storage. Excerpt fro the abstract "A multistage influence model of barriers to group problem solving is developed from the group products and suggestions are made for future research directions based on this model." Apparently Ben & Luann studied the results of 7 separate IM sessions which took place as part of Ben's GMU teaching work, over a 6 year period, combining information from all of them for use in this paper.
